Downloading Assignment Question Papers

Home assignment question papers for academic sessions are hosted on the YCMOU web portal. Students can search and download question papers by selecting their respective school and programme level.

  1. Open the YCMOU Home Assignment search portal.
  2. Select your ‘School’, ‘Program Level’, ‘Program’, and ‘Year/Sem’ from the drop-down menus.
  3. Click the ‘Search’ button to view available question papers.
  4. Click ‘View’ next to your programme title to open or download the PDF document, such as the P79 MBA Semester IV assignment PDF.

Required Details on the Front Page

Every assignment answer booklet must display complete candidate and study centre identification details. Ensure all entries are written clearly and legibly.

  • Name and Address of the Study Centre
  • Learner’s Signature

Formatting and Answer Writing Rules

Students must strictly adhere to university guidelines regarding paper layout, handwriting, and content originality.

  • Margin: Leave a 1.5-inch (4 cm) margin on the left side of every page.
  • Page Layout: Start each new question answer on a new page.
  • Handwriting: Write all answers in your own readable handwriting. Typed, printed, or photocopied answer sheets are strictly rejected.
  • Originality: Do not copy answers verbatim from textbooks. Write answers in your own words, incorporating personal opinions, ideas, examples, evidence, tables, graphs, charts, or diagrams where appropriate.
  • Marking Scheme: Home assignments generally consist of 4 short-answer questions worth 5 marks each, totaling 20 marks. A minimum of 40% marks is required to pass.

Uploading PDF Assignment Booklet Online

Once written, the assignment booklet must be converted into a digital file and submitted through the university web platform.
